在英語中只有名詞才分可數和不可數，而serious是形容詞，因此不能說serious是可數或不可數。

（3）if someone is serious about something they say or plan to do they really mean it and are not joking or pretending所說的話或打算做的事認真的，嚴肅的

例如：Is she serious about giving up her job？

她要辭職是認真的嗎？
