今天跟大家聊一下

口語的評分準則

以及

你的分數是怎麼計算

的。

對口語考試稍有了解的小夥伴們都知道，口語雖然是

holistic scoring

，但你的表現會從以下三個方面進行全方位評估：

Delivery, Language use,Topic development

。

#1 Delivery

語言的清晰度 = 發音

，

重音

（單詞的重音），

語調

（是否符合英語口語中自然的升降調）

步伐 = 語速

，

句子的長短

，

猶豫/卡頓

#2 Language use

“high level of language use ［…］ is characterized by the

efficiency

of word choice and grammatical structures to convey meaning and the

automaticity

with which they are created”

簡而言之，這段話的意思是說考生是否能精準有效的表達自己的意思。

Can you say what you want to say without using a lot of unnecessary words?

e.g.

My phone costs me a lot of money。 -> 這裡用了7個單詞，都是基礎詞彙

e.g.

My phone is

expensive

。 -> 這句話用了4個單詞， 但”expensive” 是一個比較高階的詞。

因此我們在答題中需要用精準的詞彙去表達自己的意思，而不是為了拖延時間，把一個簡單的句子複雜化（用更多的詞）這樣做的另一個原因是為了讓我們在有限時間裡（45”）講更多的東西。

He listened to everything that was said in class。 He was

#3 Topic development

（獨立口語）

Topic development指的是考生答題內容是否邏輯清晰並且連貫地建立自己的想法和思路。

clearly communicating a point of view

with some elaboration

… ideas progress smoothly… making the response easy to follow。”

“clearly communicate a point of view”

-> 觀點必須明確清晰

“well-supported reasons”

-> 是否有足夠的理由支撐你的觀點

“with some elaboration”

-> 你的理由是否給出了足夠的解釋和闡述

（綜合口語）

- 考生是否準確並且完整的回答了問題，思路是否清晰明確。

“At the highest level， responses

by presenting relevant information form the reading and listening … and organizing it in a way that makes it easy for the listener to follow

the progression of ideas

-> 是否回答了問題

-> 答題是否邏輯清晰，容易理解

“some supporting details”

-> 不只是回答了問題，更需要新增一些額外的細節

#4 如何計算你的口語分數

1。 每一道題將會由

兩位考官

（human rater）打分

2。 每個考官會給出一個

0-4分

的整數分數（rubric score）

3。 每道題最終的rubric score是兩個考官給出分數的

平均分

例如：（3+4） / 2= 3。5

4。 每道題的rubric score會換算成

scaled score

（0-30）（Rubric score）/4*30 = scaled score 例如：3。5/4*30=26。25

5。 取四個scaled scores的

平均分

就是你的口語最後得分 例如： （26。25+30+18。75+26。25） / 4=25。31

瞭解的評分標準之後，最重要的當然還是練習。畢竟
