一個英語句子中兩個動詞之間不一定要用to（不定式的符號，不定式是to＋動詞原形）來連線，也可以把動詞不定式換成動名詞，例如 We like to eat apples（我們喜歡吃蘋果）。 把不定式to eat換成動名詞eating就可以不用to把動詞like和動詞eat連線了，即We like eating apples。
