或許你對Zatox在義大利推動Hardstyle發展程序有所瞭解，或許你也知道Zatox對整個Hardstyle的貢獻有所瞭解。

但你並不清楚同樣在義大利一直有一位元老級人物坐鎮，上過Qlimax，（上是參加的意思，你們可別想歪了），與Technoboy，Tuneboy （AKA TNT） 、Zatox等多名製作人合作。

在我聯絡Tatanka的時候，我突然覺得Tatanka並不像我想象中的那樣高冷，相對於Hardstyle界舉足輕重的人物，Tatanka對於我的採訪顯得有些過於熱情，也許是他並沒有想到中國也會有他的粉絲。

我並不會對他從一個大胖子變成小瘦猴的過程感興趣，我更感興趣的是他創作例如《Tokyo》這種充滿靈性的歌曲時是怎樣的一種態度與境界。

DJ Tatanka，原名Valerio Mascellino，1979年12月18日出生在義大利的

Tatanka這個名字來自印第安語，意味著

DJ Tatanka， real name as Valerio Mascellino， was born in Sarzana， Italy， December 18

， 1979。

The word “Tatanka” came from Indian， which means African buffalo。 In 1993， Tatanka became really interested in electronic dance music and started performing at some private party。 Later he began making hardstyle and won a huge success。 Tatanka released his first record “Mammuth” 1998。

Until now， he already published 88 singles in total， and he had cooperated with many other famous hard dance producers and DJs， such as Zatox。

Tatanka also joined the most famous club “DISC” in Italy， and took part in the live events “Defqon1”， “DecibelOutdoor”， “Emporium”， “Reverze”， “Bassleaders”， “Tomorrowland” and “Nature One”。

While in 2008， he changed his consistent style and mixed punk and hardcore into his own style。

Recently， Tatanka is concentrating on the event called “100% DJ Tatanka” in the club “Matrixx” in Nijmegen， Netherlands。

He also participated the special event “Qlimax” held by Dutch record company “Q-dance”。

Mad Noisy：不如先來說說你對中國的印象如何？ 哈哈

Tatanka：我對中國沒有什麼印象……我總是聽說中國但是從未親眼見識過這個國家。也許某一天我會去拜訪一下。

（我真想說那肯定八抬大轎接你來，話說八抬大轎用英文咋說？)

1） I have no impressions about China。。。 I’ve always heard about China but I‘ve never seen the country with my own eyes。。。 Maybe one day I’ll visit you。

Mad Noisy：我認為hardstyle是一種令人興奮的音樂，那麼如果你不開心的時候，還會聽Hardstyle麼？

Tatanka：音樂可以治癒你的心靈，同時有些音樂也可以幫助人們度過艱難的時光（包括不開心的時候）。

我很開心Hardstyle包含著一些具有較大積極性的資訊並且很自豪我散播這些正能量好幾年了。

2） Music can be healing for your soul， and some can help people crossing bad times （depression included）。

Im happy that hardstyle contains some big positive messages and Im proud I‘m spreading some for several years now。

Mad Noisy：那麼你如何評價現在越來越流行，越來越商業化的音樂趨勢？

Tatanka：那是因為音樂行業只獎勵那些最有效的東西，這使得製作人們都去製作那些更“安全”更有利益的東西而不是讓他們透過自己的創造力去表現自己最好的一面。

3） That’s because the music business works in a way that rewards what works the most and makes many producers produce what‘s “safer” and profitful rather than letting them express at their best through creativity。

Mad Noisy：你怎樣看待EDM和地下音樂，或者說，你如何看待商業音樂與地下音樂

Tatanka：我的腦海裡並沒有什麼特別的東西：我尊重幾乎所有的人。

4） There’s nothing in my mind about those movements： I respect almost everybody

Mad Noisy： 我一直非常喜歡《tokyo》的旋律，能否回想起當時創作這首歌時候的心境？

Tatanka：我認為你剛好發現了我過去的一個生動的瞬間！

那是一件我記得特別清楚的事情。但是除了“絕對的喜悅”你還能怎麼形容它呢？

我當時創作旋律的完全就是現在這首歌裡的旋律（個人理解：這首歌的旋律是我一次性做出來的，沒有任何更改），穩定的鋼琴和絃，然後主節奏和絃，最後主旋律一個接一個從我的手中/腦海中/心中/靈魂中出現：這是純粹的魔法。

5） I think you‘ve just spotted one vivid moment of my past！

Well it’s something I specifically and clearly remember。

But how can you describe it if not “ABSOLUTE JOY”？

I made that melody exactly in the order that comes in the song。

Mad Noisy： 音樂在你的生活上扮演著什麼角色？

Tatanka：音樂曾經在我的生活中佔據很大的部分並且主宰著我的生活。

如今它依然扮演著重要的角色，因為它幫助了我達成我的夢想。但是我現在傾向於，只有當我有一個好的想法要去傳播，並且有一個不錯的點子能讓我把這個想法傳遞出去的時候，我才會去製作。

6） Used to be bigger and rule my life。

It still does have a big role cause in the end it helped me in realizing my dreams， but I tend to produce only if I have a good message to spread and a cool idea I can deliver the message through。
