反正我學的英語是後者。

話說回來，野原新之助回家的時候不也是說“你回來了”麼，估計區別也不大罷。

美語一般說 who is this，而英國人對說 who is that 。 （竊以為英國說法正確一些） 儘管有些唐突，而且人們一般更喜歡說 who is there 或者 who is speaking。

兩種說法都有，意思都是詢問電話對面的是誰。

兩者的差別的話可能是一種說法的人認為另一種說法有些奇怪，但是還是可以理解的。

美式英語中說who is this比較多，而且有很多的情況說who‘s this。

英式英語中說who is that比較多，但是也有一些英國人說的是who is this。

真正實用的電話英語不是你能聽懂“Sorry，the number you dailed is busy now。”之類的機器回覆的英語，而是在電話情景中，能用英語進行有效的溝通。下面這些英語就很可能用得上，比如你找外教上英語課時。

1。我找那個。。。誰。。。：

Hello， may I speak to 。。。？ 我找。。。

This is 。。。 speaking。 我就是。。。

This is 。。。 from 。。。 我是來自。。。 公司的 。。。

2。 職場人士都該會這句：

Is it a good time to call？ 方便現在講電話麼？

3。 我剛才給你打沒打通：

Hello。 I tried to call earlier but I couldn’t get through。

4。 我這會兒忙著呢。該咋說：

I am in the middle of something。 Can I call you back later？ 我這會正忙著，稍後回給你

I am kind of busy at the moment。 Do you mind if I call you back in a few hours？ 我這會兒正忙著呢，幾小時後我打過來好嗎？

終於都有空，能開聊了。

5。 開場寒暄兩句：

- How are things with you？ 最近咋樣？

- Good， good！ / Same old same old。 Yourself？ 挺好！/ 老樣子！

- How have you been？ 最近咋樣？

- Things’re good。 Thanks！ / Busy busy！ 還不錯！/ 忙啊！

6。 轉到正式話題：

So。 I am calling to ask / confirm 。。。 我打電話主要是想問問你。。。。 / 跟你確認。。。

Well。 I am calling in regard to the 。。。 我打電話是有關。。。的事兒。

Look。 I was wondering 。。。 我想問。。。

I’m just calling to find out when you will be free next week。 你下週有空麼？

7。 沒聽清你說啥，再重複一遍：

Would you mind repeating that？ 再說一遍唄。

Could you repeat the part about…？ 那個。。。部分再說一遍吧 。

8。 沒整明白啥意思，再次確認：

Could you elaborate on that， please？ 那個再具體一點。

Do you mean to say…？ 你意思是說。。。

Could you explain what you mean by…？ 你說。。。是啥意思啊？

9。 喂！喂！訊號不好啊！

You are breaking up。 斷斷續續的（不是分手的意思！哈哈）

I am having a bad reception。 訊號不好

I am losing every other word of you。 有一個字兒每一個字的！

This is a terrible connection。 訊號太差了。

There is a delay in the voice。 聲音有延遲啊。

We are hearing an echo at this end。 有迴音。

I’m going to call you back in a minute。 我馬上給你撥過去。

10。 不好意思，剛掉線了，你繼續說：

Sorry。 It was cut off suddenly。 You were saying 。。。？ 突然就斷了。你剛才說啥來著？

It’s OK， I can hear now。 Please carry on。 這回好了，你繼續！

Hi。 Sorry， I went into a tunnel and was cut off。 You go ahead。 剛進隧道了，你繼續！

11。 等會兒，我整根兒筆記一下：

Hold on a sec。 Let me grab a pen。 等我找根兒筆

Hang on。 Let me just grab a piece of paper。 等我找張紙兒

12。 我讀一遍，你聽聽對不：

OK， I think I’ve got all of it。 Let me just read it back to you。 It‘s 。。。 Is that right？
