之所以你想用 are 是受到了 What are you doing 的影響吧？

嗯，are 和 you 形影不離，不離不棄，天地合，山無稜，乃敢…

但是，you 和 your 能一樣嗎？

記住下面這句話 What‘s your problem！

看到沒有，大佬用的就是is 。。。

或者我們聯想一個場景，大佬又被淋了一瓶水，或者他會爆起 What are your problems？！

一般沒人這樣說啦，但用來解釋 is 和 are 也差不多夠了。

When is/ When ‘ s your birthday 是對的，因為birthday 是單數呀，哈。又如：

What’ s your name ？ （name 是單數，所以用 is）。再看：

Who is your sister？（sister 是單數，所以，用is）。

Where is / Where‘s your book？（book 是單數，所以用is ）。

Where are your books ？ （books是複數，所以用are）。

。

“When’s” can be used in casual situations。 It is an extension of the pattern of making contractions for words followed by “is” by dropping the “i” and adding apostrophe s （‘s）， like “who’s”， “what‘s”， “where’s”， and so on。

It is “when is” as opposed to “when are” because most people in the Western world， celebrate only their solar birthday。

If you‘re talking to multiple people， you could say

"When're your birthdays?"

but “when’re” is okay to use only when speaking or texting and other casual situations。
