ABOUT SEAL

Seal 全名Seal Henry Samuel，於1963年2月19日出生在英國倫敦，他是一名混血兒，父母分別是自奈及利亞人和巴西人。自上世紀90年代以來，Seal一直都是英國最受歡迎的男歌手之一，90年代中期以後，他把靈魂樂，民謠，搖滾，舞曲等不同的風格融入到自己的音樂中去，自成一派，使他不僅在英國保持了強大的號召力，而且還逐步贏得了美國音樂界的認可。

1990年，在音樂製作人Adamski的協助下，Seal發行了一張EP唱片《Killer》，這張專輯很快在英國成為了排行榜冠軍，這張EP專輯的成功，為Seal帶來了一份自己的合同。他的首張正式專輯《Seal（1991）》在1991年6月11日發行，擔任製作人的是曾經為Frankie Goes to Hollywood樂隊製作專輯的前the Buggles樂隊成員Trevor Horn。這張專輯中誕生了許多首非常優秀的單曲，無論在英國還是在美國都獲得了相當大程度的成功，專輯總銷量超過了三百萬張。

1994年他的第二張專輯繼續以“Seal”命名，稱作《Seal（1994）》。這是Seal最為成功的專輯，其中的單曲《Kiss From a Rose》不僅入選了電影《永遠的蝙蝠俠（Batman Forever）》的原聲大碟，更重要的是為他在1995年度第38屆格萊美獎中贏得了年度最佳唱片（Record Of The Year），年度最佳歌曲（Song Of The Year），最佳流行男歌手（Best Male Pop Vocal Performance）三尊分量十足的獎盃。

1998年，Seal又發行了自己的第三張專輯這次他把專輯名字改了，叫做《Human Being》，同樣這張專輯也賣出了400多萬張。2003年9月9日，Human Being的第四張正式專輯《Seal IV》發行。這張專輯再度由製作人Trevor Horn來操刀，這對藝人與製作人搭檔已聯手創造出全球1200萬的專輯銷售佳績，並譜出“Crazy” “Prayer For The Dying”和“Kiss From A Rose”等佳作，這次再度攜手，自然獲得樂迷與樂評的高度期待。
