平臺上關於酒店管家的內容似乎很少,剛好就抽空再次整理了一下針對酒店中管家服務的一些內容;要注意的是管家的範圍很廣,我只將自己親生經歷的多次實戰經驗和培訓所學的知識就酒店服務這一塊稍加表述。

在我們開始之前我們有必要了解一下什麼是管家,以及在你們印象當中管家應該是個怎麼樣子的。

“管家”這個詞來源於法語“bouteiler”,意思是裝瓶商,但是據說在《聖經》中也提到過這個詞。

The word ‘butler’ come from the French term for bottler for bottler ‘bouteiler’。 But according to an old dictionary entry it was even mentioned in the Bible!

管家或者說服務提供者在家庭、酒店、或私人遊艇中起到舉足輕重的作用,他領導者一個由專業人士組成的團隊,不僅給僱主或者客人提供超出其預期的個性化服務,而且保證提供服務的人更加機敏,具有更完備的知識與資訊。

Basically a butler, the Personal Service Provider, is a key element in a household, hotel, or private yacht, heading a team of professionals that delivers a level of personalized service that exceeds not only the expectations of the employer or guest, but will secure a more sensitive and better informed service。

管家天然就是領導者。他因該以小管理者出現,透過培訓和輔導的方式很有技巧地發揮其他員工的作用。

In order to make this objective, the first thing you need to do is break all the hotel standards, because you will never have a standard client。

Hotel Butler:

客戶只是短暫的在酒店住幾晚,可能只有1晚上,很少超過3晚。

Clients only stay at hotel for one night, maybe two, maximum three in most of the cases。

要在極短的時間內贏得客戶的信任,認可;而這些是非常有挑戰的。

It’s a challenge to win the trust and recognition within such a short period。

另一種情況是客戶本身有自己的私人助理,私人管家或私人廚師隨行,在這種情況下,你可能連和客戶直接對話的機會都沒有,你將成為客戶私人助理的管家,協助他一起完成任務。

In another scenario is a Personal Assistant, Personal Butler or Personal Chef coming with the client; in that case, the chances to make direct conversation with clients may down to zero; you job is to assist them to make the job done。

簡單來說,你是客戶和酒店之間的橋樑,而你的工作是透過在你背後的酒店同事們來完成的,所有,酒店的管家通常來說是一個大家都認識的人,並且有很強執行力的人,也是受其他同事尊重的人。

Basically, you are the bridge between client and hotel, you job is to make sure your Hotel team back you up and you need to communicate through different hotel departments according to client’s needs; that’s why butlers of the hotel usually are the people who know everyone in the hotel, strong execution ability and respect by other colleagues。

在酒店工作中需要用到管家級服務的客人必定是酒店的高階貴賓,想象一下, 一位初次來酒店入住的貴賓,在他抵達前,所有的酒店高管們早已列隊在酒店門口進行迎接,至少有五到十幾號人;而客人的到來也同時會有好幾個隨行人員陪同,出於禮貌,客人和酒店的管理人員一一握手打招呼,同時會在短短的三十秒內手裡已經攥了近十張名片了,你覺得他會記住誰了嗎?

Hotel will provide butler service to a client who is a VIP, and just Imaging, a first visit VIP is coming to the hotel, all the hotel management team will line up at hotel entrance to give a warm welcome to the VIP, less to more there usually will be 5 to 10 people; the moment the VIP arrive the hotel he will be greeted by all the hotel management team and around ten business cards in his hand within merely 30 seconds, whom do you think he has been remembered?

第一印象是持久印象,良好的第一印象將幫助你減半你的後續工作難度;同時你也要知道,你可能隨時會被客戶喜歡或討厭,就好像聊得來和聊不來,來電和不來電;客戶可能不喜歡你香水的味道,不喜歡你的鼻子或是你的聲音等。

First impression is last impression; a positive first impression will make your job easier; however, barely in mind that the client may not like for no reason; may not like your nose, not like your style, but remember don’t take it personal。

除了良好的第一印象以外,酒店管家必須是一個單兵作戰能力超強和團隊合作能力超強的人;通常我們會從營運部門選拔這個職位,如前廳部,客房部,餐飲部;他們有各自領域的專業技能和知識,且這些部門均是來自前線和客人直接打交道的一線人員,這對他們成為一名合格的優秀管家是極大的一個優勢。

A hotel butler usually knows operation very well, he or she is a team player, usually we will pick from hotel operation department like: Front Office, HSKP, F&B; there people have professional skills and knowledge in their field and also from front line that always facing guests and deal with guests directly。

讓客戶在你自我介紹的時候記住你 | Be remembered by the guests

瞭解你的客戶,你需要做好你的功課;獲得儘可能多的資訊。

Know your client, do your homework; collect as much information as possible。

當你接到你的客戶的那個瞬間開始,你的管家身份就開始了,所以,你需要在極短的時間內讓你的客戶記住你;你的目的是讓他在有任何需求時想到的人是你來幫助他。

The moment you received your client, the game is on, you need to let your client remember you within a blink of an eye; and make yourself to be the first contact whenever client need assistances。

並且,你需要透過你的觀察和感知力去洞察和了解客戶,大部分的資訊和需求是可以透過觀察來得到的;其次你需要透過對話的形式去了解你想知道資訊。
